Dividend Investments for November 1st, 2024

I wanted to let you know that I added to two existing holdings of the Dividend Growth Investor Portfolio. I added to two existing positions which have low portfolio weights.

I started my search by sorting my portfolio by weight, then evaluating each company until I found two that looked promising.

In general, I look for a streak of dividend increases. I also want this streak to be well covered by fundamentals, such as earnings growth. I look at recent dividend increases, in conjunction with growth in earnings per share, historical growth in dividends and trends in the dividend payout ratio. Last but not least, I look at valuations.

The two companies I added to this morning include:
