Good Morning,

I wanted to let you know that I added to two existing positions in my taxable account. Both companies are well-known blue-chip dividend aristocrats with global operations. I've been slowly building a position in each company over the course of this year, and would likely continue doing that for as long as  the businesses do well and valuation is fair.

I bought both companies in my taxable account, and I also bought fractional shares into each, consistent with the limitations set forth at the onset of the newsletter a few years ago. I invest $1,000/month into the best values I can find today. This means I get to allocate these funds into 5 - 15 companies each month, and show you how I build out a portfolio over time. I reinvest dividends and keep building out that future income stream until the end goal of the newsletter is reached. The end goal being that the portfolio I build ends up generating $1,000 in dividend income every month.

My experience has shown me that it is better to invest in 5 - 15 companies that fit what I am looking for each month, rather than investing in one or two companies. Diversification is the only free lunch out there. Plus, if you plant more seeds, you have a higher chance of one of them turning into an oak tree.

I build this portfolio in a slow but steady way, brick by brick. Each investment that I make gets me closer to the stated objective, because it add to forward annual dividend income. Each dividend reinvestment also gets me closer to the stated objective, because it also adds to forward annual dividend income.

The same goes for each dividend increase, because it also adds to increasing that forward annual dividend income figure.

I focus on things within my control. Those being my stated objective, the amount I invest and the strategy I follow to reach my objectives. I can also control my attitude and my timeframe.

I focus on dividend income, because dividends are more stable than share prices, they are easier to predict and easier to rely upon for the purposes of reaching financial independence/retirement.

Now that we got this out of the way, lets share the companies I invested in:
